Scooter Trash. Of course, this is more of an attitude than an adjective.

Re: PCX -- The Attraction
I'm old to motorcycles. ;) I used to think anything smaller than 1,000cc was a "little bike." I guess I've gotten over that. After 45 years and 25 motorcycles, over 250,000 miles of two wheel riding, the PCX makes me smile... OK, sometimes it makes me laugh out loud. I came to the co...

Re: Ready For Touring
Vagabondman, thanks for those photos - they make me feel like a total candyass when I'm carrying a pizza and some soda... and worried about getting it home intact. ;) We don't travel light. I used to enjoy cross country touring... with an H-D Ultra and a color-matched Bushtec trailer. We're not look...

Re: Looking for a Scooter Cover...
I have towed motorcycles for years; never put a cover on them because of the chaffing concern. Especially so with an open trailer. I have used a vinyl cover on bicycles behind an RV... yep, it chaffed the paint, and the cover did not appear to be flapping. That is the reason I went with an enclosed ...

Good for you that you are back on the scoot! Best wishes for full and fast healing and LOTS of scooter riding! I'm a big believer that good mental attitude promotes faster healing... and I think you've found the right "prescription". 8) (Take two rides and post about it in the morning.) Ca...

Re: You're a biker? Questions, questions
Long weekend (3 day) now coming to a close :( Some folk never cease to amaze me. Here we go.....geez Same neighbor: "That's automatic.....Really?" (facial expression, 8) ) followed by: "Give me that thing, I'll show ya how to ride it!" (grabs bar, leg lifted over seat and arse p...

Re: Breaking In !
I'd go with what it says in the owners' manual... as I recall, no hard driving for the first 300 miles, vary your speed (don't drive one speed for an extended time). Since it's your first bike, I'd suggest take a Motorcycle Safety Foundation course, wear the proper gear, and go easy on yourself and ...

Re: Fuel type in us
people have really attacked this subject with zest... and each with their own opinions! so, it's good to read what everyone thinks about ethanol vs non. so, here's my two cents worth, for what it's worth. after all, girls / women aren't supposed to know %$&&!! about cars and motors. I think...

Re: seeking buying advice
After 45 years of motorcycle riding, when my wife suggested a pair of scooters, I did some research. Here are the things the PCX has over the other scooters that were on our short list: Fuel injection Water cooled 14" wheels Honda reliability Styling wasn't trying to be a Vespa-wannabee What I ...

Re: Can't ride, so frustrated!
I feel your pain. OK, not your pain , but I can empathize with your situation. We left our scoots at home (almost 3,000 miles away) to take a seasonal boat job (we are retired). It would have been GREAT to have the scoots along for our off-time, but there was no easy way to get 'em here. Just 4 days...

Looks good. It will be interesting to hear the difference in real use highway speeds after you have a chance to wring out the Forza.

Re: Loading pcx in uhaul
The reason for not transporting it on the stand is that instead of the bumps being soaked up by the suspension, the stand jars in its mountings. This is A Very Bad Thing when the stand mount is a brittle alloy crankcase. This is true and I have not transported my pcx at all. My euro sport however d...

Here's some advice from someone who has actually DONE that... http://i1189.photobucket.com/albums/z440/eiwiz/BikesInTrailer_zpsace7b3ed.jpg That is a U-Haul 5x8 trailer, hauling two PCX 150s. We have hauled bikes for years, so we have some experience with this. First, check with your U-Haul dealer -...

Yep, you get a choice of: red or nothing here in the US. The white is sharp looking (coming from a guy who has a red PCX).

Notice that there are two folding bikes on the left. It was also the last time they saw any use. Ride that scoot hard enough, and you will burn some calories.
