Re: PCX Body Parts?

Surprisingly I didn't break any tabs but the part that cracked was the rear wing. I definitely will buy the service manual after I've taken most of this bike apart now. I'm having difficulty on the front panels and around the handles. The pic below shows the panel I'm having issues with. I took the...

Your thoughts on these color combo's

Any thoughts on any of these color combinations. I am thinking about doing one of them just for something a little different. Personally, I like the first one the best. Panels are cheap! http://coolrockindaddies.bandvista.com/utils.php?action=filemanager&file=33064 http://coolrockindaddies.bandv...

Re: PCX Body Parts?

So here in cleveland we had 1 day out of the week that it was warm enough to ride, and as I was on a round about I hit a patch of loose gravel and slid. Now my left side panels need replaced. I tried painting over scratches but didn't look good. At least the panels are inexpensive. Everything on th...

Re: New PCX and Brake Fluid Gone Down

As the brakes wear, the fluid will appear to be less. But in reality it's just occupying more space in the system due to the increase travel in the brake piston(s). You may need to add just a little to bring it back to the right level. Even your auto brake will do this. I believe, it should show abo...

Re: New PCX owner - with a slight problem

So far i have had fun riding it but now that it is getting colder my hands arent enjoying it so much! It was stock when i bought it but i have put a taller Givi screen on it along...

Re: Am i the biggest wimp on the site

Bike is all waxed and tucked up in the garage ready for next year Ditto that... Sat. I cleaned the screen and changed the oil, filled the gas tank, and dumped in some stablizer. Ran it on the stand for about 10 minutes, then parked it in the garage and covered it up for the winter. Here in the Chic...

Re: Whats the furthest youve gone on one tank?

Conservatively everyone should be getting at least around 90 mpg. At that rate, you should be able to go about 145 miles on a 1.6 gal. tank of fuel. I have only gone about 130 myself before refueling. When the last bar flashes, I'm looking to fill up. But I love putting gas in though. It brings a sm...

Re: Givi/Kappa Monolock Mount Drill Holes

After some advice from anyone (and I am sure there are quite a few on here) that has installed a Givi E231 bracket. I installed it with minimal fuss a few days ago (even managed not to crack the tail plastics) however with having to drill out the holes for the overpriced bracket to go into I am lef...

Re: At a red light and it wont change

Anyone else hate when this happens? you are at a light going left and i guess your weight+bike wont trigger the sensor to make the light change. Theres a few pain in the butt turns in my area that are like this. If i dont get lucky and have someone behind me in a car then the light wont change. I h...

Re: How to replace panels on PCX 125

Those looks exactly the same, so we should have most in not all of the tools we need. Thank you C-Note! We're finally going to tackle the valves this weekend I think. Easier to give the PCX up for a bit now that cool rainy weather has returned. Yeah, you're gonna need to remove all of the panels ju...

Re: How to replace panels on PCX 125

Congratulations C-Note! What trim removal tools did you use? We bought a set at Harbor Freight, but haven't used them yet so I don't know if they were a good choice among the several options. Do you have a link or photo? I bought mine at Harbor Frieght as well. I don't really think it matters as lo...

Re: Side fenders mounting question

Hello all. My new PCX 150 is a load of fun to ride. As I'm looking her over I realized that the side fenders along the rear area have a plastic tab sticking down that seems to need a rivet or bolt or press in fastener to attach the fender flair piece to this mating tab below that has a rubber compo...

Re: How to replace panels on PCX 125

SUCCESS!!! Just spent about 5 hrs in the garage swapping out the entire right side, and front left side of my PCX 125. The whole process was pretty complex but went off without a hitch. The service manual was invaluable to get this all done properly. They take you thru the steps including what needs...

Re: How to replace panels on PCX 125

Finally got all my ducks in a row... service manual (check), replacement body parts (check), trim tools (check), nice warm day to do the work (check). Just got all of the new plastic panels the other day. Surprised at how inexpensive they actually were. I am replacing the R & L front covers, R-l...

You can get a manual here for a PCX 125. A little pricey but worth it.

Re: Side fenders mounting question

Hey C-Note. Thanks much. I live outside the Champaign-Urbana area. A small town. The manual shows the exact spot you are referring to. There's a blown up detail of that area that shown the tab on the body cover with NO fastener thru it, there is however a rubber cone plug thruthe frame directly beh...
