Re: Blessing of the Bikes; Baldwin, MI 2014

The Burgman 400 and the SWing are both good choices. Both have plenty of storage and power for the kind of ridding you describe. To me the Burgman forum is friendly and helpful. The SWing forums are helpful, but both of them have a lot of bickering and clicks. Good luck with your choice and please r...

Re: new member from thailand

Hey Danny, I've seen a few blogs of people moving to Thailand and having similar experience. The Forza seems to fit foreigners better. Could you give a little more info on your seat modification. I've also seen a few Thailand custom saddles I like. We also love pictures if you have some to post in t...

Re: New member in Oklahome

Welome Okie,
Don't blame her about the back seat. After she adjusts to the extra power/size, she will probably like the Forza. Some don't though.
Either way, congrats and good luck.

Re: Forza NSS300/A

Hey also I like your hand shields and leg shields. where did you order them. I wonder if they come in red or black. I already put the taller wind shield on. it really looks nice. took a few weeks (about 3 I think) but he put it on last night. Went to Lowes (Hardware store) and bought some Lexan, us...

Re: Forza NSS300/A

Well now Helen, don't you wished you had listened to mom when she told you to eat your veggies!!!!! Your inseam is the measurement that is important here. I am thinking you are very short compared to the Forza. One inch reduction by going to a 60 profile tire instead of the 70. The MPH will show abo...

Re: Givi AF1123 Installed this morning

 Thanks Explorer. The one thing I haven't tried that I think is important is the rain experience. I have a feeling that the rain will swirl around because of the added wind coming in from the side, but as you said, it is softer, quieter....like a gentle breeze. My main concern about the speedi...

Re: Forza in S. Sask river valley setting

Somehow or another, I'm just now noticing that the Forza doesn't have any added on turn signals. I like how they're built in vs the US PCX. yeah, don't ya know the pcx could get another 20 mpg if it weren't for the signals creating all that air drag ! Oh, and another nice scenic shot. I love this k...

The one negative I see about that bike is the shift is on the same side as the throttle. Didn't see it operate, so maybe it works good. Just seems a little awkward trying to shift with the throttle hand.

Re: looking at a "used" forza vs. new

I tried to think of any reason to buy the used bike. The only reason I could think of is (my opinion of course), if you are low on money and need the few bucks you save for accessories.

Re: Givi AF1123 Installed this morning

Update: I did a 360 mile test. Givi AF1123 is quieter but there is a constant swirl of wind around you regardless of speed. Caught myself accelerating to higher speeds several times without realizing it due to the reduced wind noise. Under 60 mph US was still about the same with mpg, but over 60 (6k...

Re: Gas Gauge

27 bikes and 46 years and run out of gas twice within 1 day of each occurrence on a Valkyrie(no gauge). Both times the station was downhill and I was able to freewheel to the pump. Once with strong head wind and it reduced my range from 160 to 100 miles. Next day I forgot to switch the reserve back ...
