Tyres change resulted in the wheels to spin hard,please help

Hey guys,

I've just changed back and front wheels on my pcx 125 + cleaning rear drum and front break pads. After I installed back the wheels, stood it up on the central stand and tried to manually turn the wheels just to try them and especially the front one was really hard to turn, the rear one is less stiff but still a bit harder to turn. Before this service, when stood up on the central stand and with engine on, the rear wheel was turning by itself without revving, now this doesn't happen.

Could anyone suggest what the reason of this could be?

Work the brakes a few times to center the brake pads and shoes. Make sure every thing is put back together correctly.

What size tyres did you put on?

What pcx man said , also , did you regrease the axles ? . Proper torque on the axles .

Both tyres are michelin city grip and I only regreased the rear brake shoe, what else should I have greased ?

Out of interest, do you have to re-grease after removing and re-fitting the same wheel after a tyre change? Not seen that mentioned in some 'how too videos' on you tube.

Just a thought , grease the axles , service manual suggestion .
