2014 Honda Forza

Figures... I buy a PCX 150 and Honda releases a bigger version, the Forza with 297ccs. Had I known this would be released a year later, I would have waited. Looks like a bigger version of the little PCX and have the power for comfortable two-up riding around town and short bursts on the highway.

I wonder how much I can get on trade-in for my PCX.

I wouldnt fret about this. The forza will be more expensive to run, more to insure, tax etc. probably less economical on the fuel too as its a bigger engine.

There won't be much in it.
The Forza achieves over 80mpg (imperial) and has much longer service intervals than the PCX.

There's no need to hurry now. The new Forza might have some issues, so it's better you get it later. Just be happy with your PCX for a year or two before jumping into the unknown.

By the way, the engine is 279 cc -- the same as Honda's SH300.

But not the same engine.

I was speaking to my dealer about something else this morning and we started talking about the Forza. He said they were told they won't be getting one until the end of August or September.

Even the PCX came later than said to the U.S. :| This could be a blessing in disguise. Let'em get past the recalls and de-kink the kinks first, put off PCX divorce & in the meantime.... Keep saving those pennies towards the "exchange" or all out purchase. That works, right? :P

Sounds like a good plan to me.
If a new Forza is too expensive I think I might go for a used Xmax 250.
Need to wait and see what the Forza's UK price will be.

I keep looking over at the big SYM's!

Same here. I'm keeping an eye on the Forza for now but have the Maxsym or the Downtown in reserve (choice could purely be down to dealer location) I haven't discounted the X10 either. I'd love a 300 PCX (with clock and 12v charger) or S-Wing though.

Not for me thanks. Used the PCX for the first time this year. Was just going to potter around the block to get some air through her. Did 40miles through the dales. Perfect. Steady 50mph.
