IT HAS A CLOCK! :o And no hump! :P

Bigger gas, LED lighting, and more refined features. Looks to be a classy steed. :D

As I mentioned in different topic, 2014 model has very practical improvements. I think that change from 2012 to 2013 was not as important as 2013>2014.
On one side I am a bit sad I have "only" 2013 model, but I am grateful for beautiful 2000 kilometers on it :)
The biggest disadvantage is smaller fuel tank, other things as LEDs, clock, 12 V socket, etc. aren't that big. But I am curious about compatibility with 2013 model, eg. if it would be possible to change fuel tank or light bulbs, it would be great :)

Don't worry about the other thread, I just mentioned it.
Here is a video of 2014:

It shows the known improvements and alarm, which hasn't been mentioned anywhere till now.

Do you believe the 'remote alarm' will feature on the UK 125 version or just european version?

We didn't get the alarm in the US or UK for the 125/150 pre-2014 models, so I bet that will be a Japanese / Thai only component again.

Honestly, I have no idea. It is possible it will be only available for Asia&Pacific region. I think this because last year I saw that in EU we could choose only from about 5 colors while in APAC they had wide range of different combinations. As far as I know, PCXs for EU are made only in Italy, so it depends on that factory.

You got the 2011 model, 2013s were made in Italy. My VIN stards with ZDC and manufacturer is Honda Italia Industrial SPA, IT. I don't know if they started to make them in Italy in 2012 or 2013.

Here's a link to Honda Worldwide...

No mention of building the PCX anywhere but Thailand. The SH150 and SH300 are listed as built in Italy. Any other details of an Italian build for the PCX?

Hard to find anything relevant in English. In Italian, you really cannot state it more clearly than this:
http://www.moto.it/news/honda-produzion ... tessa.html

I wonder what parts would be interchangeable. I can't imagine the fuel tank would not be. At the same time the body panels, I wonder if they kept he same frame and mounting points? That could be interesting. I also wonder if the shocks are any better. The black coils at least look cool. I'd be up for a fuel tank and shock swap. As soon as they are available we can search the parts diagrams to see what changed.

Changing the fuel tank would be interesting...

Looking more closely, that story is from 2012 and reports that Honda are thinking about moing production, it doesn't say that production has been moved.

But most likely it was moved because PCXs made in 2013 and delivered to Slovakia & Czech republic were made in Italy :)

Here's another piece of news, but I think they all fall back on the same source.
http://www.omnimoto.it/magazine/9936/ho ... ponibilita

DESTINATION FROM THAILAND ATESSA
The success of the European PCX 125 has brought with it an interesting novelty. The Japanese, true to its motto, which provides that a Honda is perfectly identical to another regardless of the factory where it is built, has determined that as of autumn 2012, the PCX will no longer exclusively built into the fabric of Thai Honda, but also in the Italian headquarters of Atessa. This means, then, that most of the PCX for the European market will be built in Italy, and this can only be pleased because it shows once again that the Japanese companies that have invested in the past in the Bel Paese, certainly they were not wrong.

was at a main Honda dealers today in Pattaya, having the 1,000 km service on my PCX 150.....asked the manager when the new 2014 model will be arriving and he said second week in March......

They'd also got a new SCH 150i in there (circa 2,000 UK pounds, as apposed to the 1500 UK pounds for the PCX 150) - thought it looked bleedin awful.....then ironically as i drove off, saw a westerner riding one towards me - thought "pool fella, if he only knew what he and his scooter look'd like"....

What's that? Did you mean SH 150? If that, I think it looks nice and reminiscent of the Wave.

March, awesome. There will probably be a delay to the States though. :/
