It might be an issue at mot time. I'm not sure if the emissions are checked on a bike. I'll need to find out. I'll ask tomorrow. The PCX is in for its 3rd MOT .

Clean! That G4 exhaust is nice! It really looks great on the Forza 125. Looks OK on the PCX (mo), and good on the SH

Wouldn't have thought emissions tested on bikes, look at some of the very basic pipes on some bikes, I'm thinking murrican v-twins....

Well it is on cars, I'm not sure for bikes/scooters, specifically - but I'd prefer to clean up my exhaust if possible.

By the way, I emailed the ebay seller advertising the Giannelli G-4 and the full system as advertised for just a shade over £200 does NOT have a cat. Therefore, I deduce that with a cat, the Giannelli G4 is not cheaper than the Arrow Reflex 2.0 with a cat.

Emissions are not tested, no need for a cat.

I asked today at the bike shop. Emissions aren't tested but exhaust noise is. Not sure what the benchmark is for it though.

I don't think there can be a defined benchmark for noise on an MoT judging by some of the bikes I hear in town.

It's pretty grey area unless a sound meter is used.
