Small back rest and chrome bar around back of seat
Does anyone know where I could find/order the small back rest and chrome bar as on the back of the PCX from Indonesia. I found this part from a Thai supplier on their web site. But they do not respond to request for this part or inquiries.

They have it on powerbypcx's site: http://hondapcx.org/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=208
Here's the link to the item itself: http://www.powerbypcx.com/achat-dossere ... 52277.html.
They also have it on maithai-motorbikes: http://www.maithai-motorbikes.com/home? ... egory_id=1.

Sure -- I can assist in-person if you want. It's easy, you just drill two holes.
I haven't seen it on any US sites. The only US site that carries aftermarket PCX parts (other than the K&N air filter -- lots of places have that) is Corsport, the owners of ClubPCX. Here's the page on their site with all their available parts: http://www.corsportusa.com/store/catalo ... 0a70a3002d
Maithai-motorbikes shipped to me when I ordered my backrest, but it took 3 weeks and they sent me the wrong one (actually the one you are buying) the first time. The box they shipped the wrong item, then the box with the right item, were both completely destroyed and packed poorly. When the wrong item arrived and I told them that, they said that was the standard way they packed, and shipped the correct item just as poorly packed... You could contact powerbypcx (he's got a link in the Vendor section) and ask if he can pack it extra-carefully for you, since apparently the postal service plays football with our packages before they get here.

Re: Small back rest and chrome bar around back of seat
I had tried to connect with you about purchasing the backrest for $40 but I just noticed that you have it on eBay for $80. I don't have that amount to spare right now because I am retired. Still, we could negotiate??

Re: Small back rest and chrome bar around back of seat
I am working to develop a replacement for the "Seat Lump" riders backrest with a new piece that allows you to move back in the seat by about 2" and slide mount a custom rack that affords you the easy mounting of tail bags.
I'm open to developing additional items for the PCX 150 and even off them on this website if the owner/moderator wants to work out a deal
we can offer special pricing for forum members and a rebate to him to help underwrite the cost of this forum/website.
I do this on other forums for Suzuki motorcycles when possible.
Let me know if you have interest.
Otherwise, once developed my products for the PCX will be sold through our store on ebay and only shown on forums.
I want to help if possible.

I'm curious still
Anyone else? Can we see a sample, perhaps a sketch or link to one (something) that you've made? You mentioned Suzuki. Thanks

By all means, make them and post your wares here: http://hondapcx.org/viewforum.php?f=16Cooley_PCX_Rider wrote:I'm open to developing additional items for the PCX 150 and even off them on this website if the owner/moderator wants to work out a deal

There is no fee, and never will be. I'd love a discount for forum members, but it would be a conflict of interest for me to accept a rebate. Thanks though!
If you meant any of the above to be able to advertise, I'm sorry but, I will never allow advertisements here.
In addition, if you wanted to make a discussion about a backrest in this subforum or in the General subforum to talk about your prototype, what people might want or what you could offer, feel free to.

Re: Small back rest and chrome bar around back of seat
Hi, Is something like this what you're looking for? http://www.utpr.com
I read Utopia added the Forza, NC700 and SH150 to their Honda back rest list. If you were to contact them, maybe they'll work with you on a PCX backrest
Oh, and YouTube has a few install video's if you wanna take a peep. Search Utopia backrest. Good luck!
(No, no....I am Not affiliated with them)
