Exhaust Cover

Post by jojo87 »

Anyone know where I can get a decent one from?
accidentally cracked the middle of mine,
luckily it was the bit that can be removed/changed,
but i'd rather get the chrome/silver one with PCX on,
or a red one etc... not the standard black,
but they seem to be expensive,
anyone know any cheap places?
or is anyone on here selling one?

Thanks JoshM
i've seen all them though,
was hoping there would be something a little cheaper,
I love PowerByPCX but if I was going to get anything from there i'd get a bunch of things to make up the Postage,
but at the moment I dont have the money for a bunch of things yet,
also I seen United Kingdom on the dropdown but not I cant see it on there,
so not sure whether they're posting to the UK.

I looked at the online Honda parts and it said that exhaust cover is only $9 bucks in the USA. Call your local Honda shop and check it out.

I got the genuine Honda one from webike. The part itself was £14 but the postage was £10. They are worth a look.

Be careful, it is probably still just plastic and my experience here has shown me that chromed plastic tend to discolour fairly quickly.
2010 Honda PCX 125 in Thailand (White) - "White Lightning" Sold in Sept 2017 :(
2009 Yamaha Majesty YP400 in USA (Metalic Titanium) - "The Throne" Sold in June 2020 :(

It's hard plastic... apparently the proper ones had sharp edges, read on another Forum about them as well,
i'll get it and see how I get on anyway,
if it discolours quickly then i'll get at them about it as they don't mention it anywhere,
be a few weeks yet until I get it so will have to make do with the crack for now :-(

I got my exhaust trim today. (Monday). I only ordered it on the Thursday night. Japan to Scotland in that time. Cannot fault the service from Webike.

That's kool,
I didn't really want to spend too much on just the middle bit,
especially when PowerByPCX does full ones for not much more or similar price...

You'll have to take some photos when it's on and let us see :-)

Photos of the exhaust trim on the bike. I got a free Japanese newspaper to read as well. It came well packed and the postage was super quick.

Ali, looks nice! :P Is it stainless steel? Do you think it will fit the 2015 exhaust?
Did you see the one that raroboy just linked us too? It's S.S. What do you think about that one? At least it's available here in the U.S.

Yeah Josh! Ya like those golden wheels? Sharp heh? 8)
