How'd you install it? I read something about the vacuum for the belt housing

No vacuum on our belt housing. Simple and straight forward.

That would be the valve cover vacuum line. Install a breather on the end of the vacuum line or directly on the valve cover I needed. The further the better simply because of the oil coming into the airbox. In theory less or no oil is good but also vacuum on the crankcase is a good thing. We use to just Ben. The crankcase to atmosphere but the EPA doesn't seem to like that too much hence we have a catalyst in our exhausts.

Okay. I decided to leave the air box in same position but hair disconnected. So will that vacuum line be fine just kept connected to the air box?

Wow the sound difference. Has a bit of lag at takeoff and no noticeable speed gains but maybe I need to reset computer?

if you have only done the filter no exhaust it can hurt your bottom so lighten your wieghts to get you higher in your rpm range faster

You need to get an exhaust to feel any gains with that filter.
And its not a vacuum line, its just a breather/vent line.
I just have a L shaped hose(like the one in your hand pic) connected to the valve cover on mine, and of course NO airbox.
