2015 PCX 150 performance upgrade checklist

Post by MrManH »

Hey everyone,

I have 13g rollers, NCY Drive Face and a NCY pulley sitting at home waiting to be installed. I currently have 1400 miles on my PCX and I'm about to take it to a shop to get the parts installed. Are there any parts I should replace because of wear? Also I think I remember reading about some people recommending a few PCX 2013 (or was it 2011) parts like maybe the belt or something.

Thanks.

Pretty sure the belt can go a few thousand miles before wear becomes an issue.

So with 1400 miles there's nothing that would lower the gains I get from my upgrades?

You can easily install the parts yourself, and nothing on your bike is worn out yet, except the speedometer from being bored. You can get cordless impact tools pretty cheap these days, and the the rest comes apart with simple hand tools that can be bought cheaply at places like Harbor Freight tools, and they'll hold up with the minimal use that you'll put them through.

Hey you are a local 8) just come over and do here with my tools. Did mine a while back with exactly the same parts and have never been more happy with the performance. I have the impact wrench just gathering dust and you can get some experience, very easy, piece of cake homey. You will out run me with those stock tires

Malossi or Polini are highly rated as well, with looking at them at sip scooter parts..
