Hi, I'm new here and considering buying a PCX in California

Post by tomcat »

Hi,

I'm considering buying a PCX and am playing the game with the sales folks at my local dealership. Can anyone provide me with a good estimate as to what true dealer cost for the PCX is so I can factor that into my numbers?

My dealer showed me the invoice screen on the left over PCX125 they have and it said they owed Honda $3118 for the bike. They offered it to me for $3100 but I made them go out of town to pick up a PCX150 which I bought for $3449 plus $50 doc fee for the office girls plus $100 DMV fees for the title, registration, and new plates of which they probably made $30 for profit out of that. Plus tax. So I gave them sticker plus $80. Zero down and everything rolled into the loan for 3 years at 1.9%. Turned the key and rode away without spending a penny or lifting a finger.

I've heard this and seen this before. Even had some loon in Chicago quote me 5300 out the door on a new PCX 150.
That's insane.

I paid 3948 OTD and even financed most of it.

I will not pay over 4k for this product. That's simply way too much.
