Learnt a few things .........

Post by Trawlerman »

First off I found out that some of the components are interchangeable with those from the CBR - such as grips obviously but also brake levers and many other small parts.

Also the ESP edition is quite different to the standard edition. The exhaust manifold is slightly relocated so my new Yoshimura pipe will not fit :( and the brake reservoir has it's bolts in a slightly different place so my custom CNC cover will not fit either :(

Oh and custom foot treads are sharp as hell as I found out when i noticed blood all over them. Never felt the cut but it sure did go deep!

Most grips and brake levers are universal. ;)

What foot treads did you get?

Got some stainless steel ones from VE Spares UK. They are embossed with a flame design. I looked around for the ones with PCX on them but didn't find what I wanted at the time.
