Here is something someone brought to my attention that one doesn't think about... wind.

Side coz 2011 version. I'll use he centre stand if I'm parked tightly between bikes on the street which is rare for me.

Center Stand just because my Metropolitan only has CS, but I am getting familiar with the side stand and I like it

I always use the centre stand, always forget there is a side-stand tbh - maybe once a year?

Usually side stand unless space is an issue.

This was on the 2013’s or there about right ? Weren’t the center stands on the later models a different design to correct this issue ?

The issue was on the original non eSP model, manufactured from 2009-2011 I believe.
The centrestand mount lugs were significantly beefed up on the eSP engines.

To park: Side stand to get off the bike. This also kills the engine and disables idling stop. Then always center stand with side stand still in open position.
To go: Take the bike off the center stand and lean it on side stand to get on the bike. This is particularly helpful when Termoscud is installed.
