Garage Journal has some amazing setups, big and small.

I love the shop I built -- in part because I was working in alleys and parking lots until I was well into my thirties. I'm lucky the cars I worked on never fell on me.

Last month, Auto Bild TV in Germany did a 5-minute video on my car and my attempts to make it quicker at my home track.



I bring it up because it's got a David-vs-Goliath component to it -- for context, here's a side-by-side lap between my 43-year-old, 272-hp car and the new 911 GT3 variant, which has an extra 200 hp, better tires and a professional driver at the wheel.
