Puig Clip-On Windscreen Visor

Post by Denny »

I just installed this Puig wind deflector ($125) yesterday. It's the smallest deflector they sell, which I believe fits on the stock windscreen best due to the width figures provided for SM, M, LG. I only have one day experience commuting with it and made minimal adjustments so far. I had a tall National Cycle windscreen on my PCX, which I thought worked really well. But since I ride year round and regularly commute in darkness, I didn't like sacrificing visibility due to the fogging and frosting on that tall screen. So with my ADV I wanted to keep the short stock screen and try this deflector to be able and deflect the wind higher but keep good visibility during the colder months. I still gotta figure the ideal position, but I'm only marginally impressed so far. I'm 5'6", so a taller rider might not get the results they desire. I'll update later when I ride and mess with the adjustments more.

I don’t think you’re going to get the results you’re looking for using the Stock small screen. It’s just too low. I used a deflector on my PCX after mounting a midsize sport screen, then it was fine.
