Hi
My 2019 Forza 300 has been recovered following theft.
The thieves have taken the ECU so it is immobilised.
The garage told me I can get it running with a replacement ECU.
I see that the ECU has two connectors.
One is for the plug from the wiring loom but I don't know what plugs into the second connector.
I can't find any wiring diagrams or photos of the installation and can't work out what if anything goes into the other connector.
Can you help either by providing a wiring diagram or photos of your installation so I can see what plugs into the ECU.
Or if you can tell me what else I need to get to restore the missing bits.
I am assuming something goes into the ECU but of course it could be a diagnostic socket or something like that.
I know that it is quite fiddly to get the side panel off. The thieves just pulled mine off, breaking most of the fixings.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
Mark

Re: REPAIR FOLLOWING THEFT OF ECU
Is the other connector a 4 wire/pin connector?

Re: REPAIR FOLLOWING THEFT OF ECU
I just checked, should have looked before.
Both connectors are the same.
Male with 33 pins.
Pattern is 3 rows of 11 pins.

Re: REPAIR FOLLOWING THEFT OF ECU
So it looks like I made an incorrect assessment.
It now looks like it was the Smart Control unit that was taken.
This explains why there is only the one connector!!!
