They didn't extend that courtesy to me. The cost for labour and oil was a few hundred Baht -- the equivalent of less than five Euro. I had to pay for the registration, road tax and insurance as well. I think the phoh-roh-boh (พ.ร.บ.) was 1300 Baht.
I have learned from my mistakes, and I am sure I can repeat them exactly.

I think it all depends on the dealer, lots of Honda dealers in Udon, but I have found only two worth their salt. The only charge for my first service was 80 baht for a new crush washer. He recommends always replace after every oil change.
Insurance free, still on red plates so I don't know how much the Green Book will cost.

The said they'd give me the oil change part for free, but I'll bet there will be a bunch of stuff they'll say they have to check too. The service won't be free, I'm sure.

like the pcx 150, the forza would have the same type valves and most likely the same clearances...I did all my own service on the pcx150 and over a years time never had to adjust the valves...just changed the valve cover gasket once....I would never let those dipshits touch my bike..half those idiots couldn't find their ass if it was on fire(california). Its a lot of work to pull off all that plastic but it get a lot faster as you do it. by the third time I wasn't even referring to the service manual,(60 dollars at the dealer), and got it done it about 2 hours. with the 3rd service done myself I had already saved $500 dollars. fuck honda dealers...assholes all of them.

Forza valve clearance adjustment is by shims, check due every 16,000 miles, so completely different from the PCX.

You had to pull all the plastics off three times in a year?

Really? That's hilarious. It's not a Rolex, it's a Honda commuter bike

How often does a Rolex need a service then?

Depends. Some of the old oyster precisions can run for decades without any maintenance

Doesn't stop the manufacturer recommending regular services. You'd get a shock at the prices.
