Pcx Racing Yuminashi Variator deal

Post by Mgalutia88 »

Hey everyone. Eric of pcx racing France, a distributor of Yuminashi has offered a 10% discount if five or more people want to do a group buy on the Yuminashi speed booster variator. The price comes to $131 before the discount. If I remember correctly 3-5 day shipping is another $40 on top of that. However he may offer something considering it will take 2 weeks to order the variators from Yuminashi before he gets them.

Yuminashi no longer has any US distributors so I wanted to bring this up as I know several members stated they were interested in this variator.

Anyone who is interested please post so here. Eric has joined our forum and will be able to see this thread and answer your questions also.

I looked the other day at Yuminashi's site, and I was impressed by the passion they put into thinking out what they do. I checked their US distributors and was not impressed.

I then looked into how I would order one, but since I'm an American I was looking at the uk being my only hope.

I just had my cocktail, and I did put 60 miles on the ole PCX this weekend wondering what that variator would do for me, I'll take u up on that deal.

I better pour another drink, and hope my wife doesn't figure this one out!

Send me a PM on who to pay what.

the price annoce by Mgalutia88 is without the belt.

it is best advised to take even the Gates belt recommended by Yuminashi. the day of your order although specifying expected if a PCX 125 V1 or V2 (ESP) or PCX 150 as its slightly larger (4 mm) belt

do you know the Gates belt size they recommend for the 150? I can probably just get the belt locally. I would be interested if so.

The Yuminashi site calls for the 164 light bore kit for this Variator.

What can we expect in performance with a stock 125 US spec PCX?

Pcx Racing, are you talking about the 816-22-30 belt for the pcx 125 & 125 esp and the 820-22-30 for the 150esp? Or is there a 4mm longer belt for the yuminashi variator itself?

What is going on with our group buy? Are there enough takers?

Any thoughts how this unit will perform on a PCX125?

Thanks.

These are Yuminashi part numbers, not the Gates part number.
