Possible 4 valve head conversion

Post by dem0nk1d »

So I I came across this picture.

So apparently they are using the CBR150i head on the 125 engine. I take it this is the 125 engine because the engine mounting locations are on the top side of the motor. Quite interesting but i am sure this isn't a bolt on application. Anyone know anything about this conversion? I'd love to slap a 4 valve head on the 150.

Well thought i'd share this.

Hahahah  That's not someones kitchen. Over in most Asian countries they use tiles in their workshops for some reason. I prefer concrete, because you're bound to drop something.

Odd. This is the first I've seen of a 4-valve conversion. Where did you find the pic, and is there more info? I wonder how this would affect the power output of the engine...

Maggiedog,

I found it on the Thai Board, i couldn't convert half the broken engrish. But i got the idea it's the CBR150i head on the 125 engine. I heard the 125 engine can accept the 150pcx head with no issues for the bigger valves. I am not sure how much of a bolt on this is. I will give more info later. I just have to decrypt engrish

More to come.

I used google chrome to translate it and the thread mentions seizures, sparkly flying and 5 star balls  . The positioning of the cloth makes me suspicious plus they mention about the timing chains being on different sides.
