High Tech Helmets Heads Up Display, Voice Control, GPS

Post by cfrobw »

How about an internal sun visor like the AirWolf helmet

Here is an article I found regarding some high tech helmets. Some have rearview mirrors, rearview cameras, some have an on screen heads up display, some have turn signals and brake lights, Bluetooth, etc...

Reevu – A HUD Motorcycle Helmet

Skully Currently in Beta mode (Feb. 2014)
With a built in rear view camera, this helmet displays what is behind you in front of you. The screen has PIP (picture in picture) to give you a navigation of your current location and the shot of all those zombies chasing you down.

Motorcycle Helmet Cameras – Go Pro mounted helmet camera

Helmets w/ wireless LED brakes lights and blinkers

GPS + HUD + Voice Control
Unique hi-tech motorbike helmet with built-in navigation system and voice controlled interface.

I've got to get the one with the sun visor at least!

Helmet with a sun visor is nice but it takes getting used to. Glasses, sun visor, outside visor--that's a lot to see through and keep clean. Also, at least on the Bell helmet I have, the sun visor is very close to my glasses, almost touching.

Too many ex-bikes to list, and, besides, who really cares what we used to own?

I have a cheap helmet with the drop down visor. I love it. Mainly ride with face shield up and visor down.

He lives in the land of rain - what else would you expect to hear? 8) We also have scooters and enjoy being where the weather suits our clothes... and LOTS of sunshine. We really like our helmets with the drop down sun visor. I generally ride with the face shield up below 30 mph and down above that. The flip down sun visor is great, even with sunglasses and the face shield.
