Took a bit of working out where and how to mount it but found a nifty subtle way that works.I drilled through the black plastic cover under the windscreen to run the cables.I wrapped insulation tape around the clock itself to increases its weather resistance and put a small perspex tinted screen over the front.Its held in place by some black silicone around the back which also holds the switch that sets it in place and seals the hole the cables pass through.The windscreen, once clipped back on and bolted up, holds it in place completely tight.
I forgot to take some pics with it off so you can see it is hardly noticeable and just looks like a black box (thats if you even notice its there)
I love this mod as its so useful on a daily basis riding to work,looks smart too.Be warned if doing this mod yourselves the thing is bright and you need the tinted perspex or similar to damp the brightness down a bit or it will annoy you.
To change the time i just reach around the back of it to use the red push button thats out of sight.And yes it does keep its time as one feed to is to a permanent live.
