What's the best (your fave!) colour for the PCX?

Post by danzargo »

I'm waiting for an insurance payment for a stolen scoot and am planning on buying a used PCX 125 (would love the 150 but it's not available in the UK as far as I can see).

I love it in red, white and petrol blue. Black looks pretty cool too......but aaaghhhh......can't decide!

I know its a personal choice (colour) but what's your fave?

I like the red and black and I also like the grey colour available over-seas, but white seems to be popular (it's sort of sparkly up close). I went for white hoping it makes the scoot stand out a bit more than some other colours would, especially as winter approaches.

In my book there are only three colour option ... white, white or white. ;)
2010 Honda PCX 125 in Thailand (White) - "White Lightning" Sold in Sept 2017 :(
2009 Yamaha Majesty YP400 in USA (Metalic Titanium) - "The Throne" Sold in June 2020 :(

My vote goes to white.
Because it makes a good base for metallic orange spraypaint.

Since replacement panels are fairly cheap, it shouldn't matter which color it starts out as. You could replace all of the panels for a couple of hundred dollars (U.S.D). Why not buy one and swap some panels?

I think it's expensive to replace them in the UK.

Uk parts prices are eye-wateringly expensive, you can get them delivered from abroad much cheaper.

White, I wish the rims where white... the black rims are always the dusty looking part of the bike after every ride. White is low maintenance for OCD.

The problem with keeping the PCX/Forza wheels clean isn't the colour its the lack of a shiny gloss finish.

I love the matte look I've seen overseas (well, overseas when you live in the States)... there's a gray out there that's spectacular. I'm happy with my 2013-150 red though, which I accented with red stripes on the rims, and the red on the Givi topbox I have blends nicely as well.

Why don't you get the blue one, I'm pretty sure no one else has that here???

But, my favorite stock color is white. :)

Tell me about it. £75 for the plastic top section for the rear grab handle. I got one from cab accesories in Thailand for €30 posted. (Some dick cracked the old one taking it off)

The last time I looked, and I haven't looked again for quite awhile, the parts at CAB Accessories was more expensive than at Powerbypcx. Is that still true??
