are you sure all the parts you replaced in the right locations? have you re-checked the belt?

What variator and rollers? Could there be grease anywhere?

huh, this is consusing...but belts have been known to wear fast, especially with aftermrket contra springs or lots of hills or passenger carrying. How many mile did you drive since installing the new parts? It would be entirely possible to lose 2-3mph over 500-700 miles under those conditions.

Those symptoms are caused by two things, first are the roller weights correct for your machine? If the weights are to heavy they can retard your top end speed. For example in my honda 50 if I use 6.5g weights I barely get 35 mph, if I use 5.1g weights I get 43mph. Second and more critical the sudden reduction in speed is caused by "stuck" roller weights. They are developing flat spots which hinders their intended movement. I use a dry graphite lube on install with great success. So in summary I encourage you to verify you weights and then replace them, your old ones are no good once they flat spot, and lube them with graphite lube. You will be pleased at the results!
