Mine came with Datatag dots (apparently added to parts of the scoot), registered on their database, a green oblong datatag emblem stuck to the console. Not sure if this is always the case in the UK or dependant on dealer. It did not included a tracker or luxury security measure, but you can get high-end trackers for £40 from ebay with disabled/locate/etc features that txt a warning to you.

Corrosion, and generally in such a state that no one would nick it, works for me. ;)

I feel sorry for you guys. There are so many supersports parked at my local college campus that the thought of my PCX getting stolen is laughable. That being said, I still stick a locking rain cover on it because I hate rust 8) .

Does the PCX not have the HISS = Honda Ignition Security System ? The factory fitted immobiliser?

I got the Honda U-Lock and added it to the insurance quote.

A cover can make it worse.

I thought it did, the keys programmed for the bike (ECU or whatever) but I'm not sure. Some months ago someone bought a new lock/key barrel to fit to their PCX and I wondered if the ECU would accept it. Apparently US Honda's do not use HISS but Australian/European ones do - seems to be you can by a cheap ECU and convert for a HISS bike by adding one 12v wire! (YT vid's are dangerous, show people how to steal/get working peoples bikes!)
