My White PCX125 [2015]
Hey everyone, this is my first post so I thought I'll do it by introducing myself and my PCX.
I've been going through the forum and looking at all your beautiful bikes so I thought I'd post a couple of pictures of mine. I'm a first time rider and I'm loving every minute of riding my PCX!

Re: My White PCX125 [2015]
Thanks WhiteNoise for welcoming me to the forum! It's good to be part of it!
I really appreciate the kind words! I think I'll take your advice and try and make a banner out of it!
I've got a GoPro mount on my windshield facing with the camera facing me (it's how I got my profile picture) but in the photo I'm actually wearing the camera on a chest mount. It works great for getting a picture of the road and the dashboard!

iE , that is one superb picture.
OK, now you are obliged to keep them coming!
We will expect no slacking off.
(FYI, some isopropyl might get that big sticker off of your screen)
It's not the proper Red, but nice scoot nevertheless.
And welcome to the show. Truly.

Re: My White PCX125 [2015]
Sacha thank you very much for welcoming me and may I say that is a good looking PCX you got there!
Thanks fish! I really appreciate your compliments! I did go out the other day for a ride and a photo opportunity came up but as soon as I got my phone out of my pocket my batter run out! :/
I can't wait to get the L plates off man, I am already planning on taking my full licence very soon so I will be looking for some isopropyl!
Well, if it makes it any better I've been told that all the white PCXs are just a very light shade of red!

Re: My White PCX125 [2015]
When you say full test, do you mean A1 light motorcycle license or the full Direct Access? I'm considering doing the A1 test, but if you do it on an automatic then you can only ride automatic. So it would mean doing another test later down the line if I want a bigger bike.

Re: My White PCX125 [2015]
Well, I'm 26 which means I can go straight for Direct Access! What are the limits of the A1 licence? I don't remember.
I didn't know you could get the "big" licences on an automatic. I would definitely go for a manual though even if I had the option, just so I don't limit myself when I go to a bigger bike!

Re: My White PCX125 [2015]
I'm looking at doing the A1 license on my PCX. It would mean I can ride the PCX without L plates and take passengers. Still limited to a 125, and if you take the test on an automatic, you can only ride an automatic. It would just be so that I can take passengers for the next few years. Then if/ when I eventually get a Ninja or a Fireblade , I will have to do the DAS.

Re: My White PCX125 [2015]
That's cool. I didn't know you could actually do that. Learn something new every day! Is it expensive to do the A1?
I would probably opt for the DAS straight away because I'm a little older now and I am having so much fun on my PCX I am seriously thinking about getting something bigger soon! I'm in love with the CB650F and the CB1000R!

Oh...man! That is a sweet looking bike tenpastnine! That is the colour I want mine in too! It looks so damn good! I hope you're enjoying it buddy!
Out of curiosity, what kind of MPG do you get out of a beast like the 650F? I assume from the look this is the CBR650F but I would think it would be similar to the CB650F in terms of MPG.

Re: My White PCX125 [2015]
That's interesting. I wouldn't have thought there would be much difference between a 500 and a 650 engine but I guess it's all about how it's built to perform.
It's a lovely bike though so I don't think MPG will matter too much when it comes to making a decision!
