Eurocup 2012

Post by Cascanciu »

This is the off-topic forum, isn't it? . So guess you'll understand. Just back home after celebrating. Such an amazing match. Quite frankly, after Italy sent Germany home the other day, I expected this to be much harder. Had my fingers crossed from the very beginning and yelled a few curses, beer in hand (König wheat, my favourite) when I saw that the Italians didn't hesitate in kicking their way in once they lost the ball, which happened quite often, but this team has just made history. Euro 2010, World Cup, and Euro 2012.

I hope they let me grab some sleep. There's quite a bit of noise out there  .

Way to go Spain, European Champion, World Champion and now European Champion again. I'm coming to Spain soon on my PCX, hope you're all still having a party over there!

Duive01, if you come over here during summertime, you bet you'll find partys all over the place!.

TC3, thank you!. Italy and Portugal were the hardest rival, though the Croatians were tough too. I was in particular fear of Di Natale, remember he was the only one able to beat Casillas, in the first match. That guy has a killer instinct. I sympathized your team yesterday because Spain had its day, they played wonderfully and you could see your team was struggling and giving 110%, but there was no way. I also liked the "corridor" they made to see your team off. Sportsmanship.

Something else. The style of play of Italy has changed and I hope they keep like this. No more catenaccio and now they press and attack, not just defend and strike back every once in a while.

Oh dear, the bag of air kicking game has reared it's ugly head.
At least it's over now and the Tour De France has started.

Yeah it was a good show of sportsmanship at the end. It is good to see Italy in attacking mode but i think they were pretty shocked at how Spain broke down their defensive. Excellent play by Spain. Not one person has mentioned the game to me as they also feel sorry for me lol

Moto GP is extremely predictable.
Every race this year will be won by Stoner, Lorenzo or Pedrosa.
The championship will be won by Stoner, Lorenzo or Pedrosa.

True but it's still very entertaining especially further back in the field. The support racing is often fantastic.

Or

Or
Stoner, Pedrosa, Lorenzo
Or
