New Forza 125 arrived!

Post by YorksForzaRider »

Well, said goodbye to the PCX this afternoon, and picked up my new Forza 125. :D

1st impressions.

It's bigger than the PCX, and taller. I'm 6' but can only get my tiptoes on the floor.
It's more stable than the PCX, I guess due to its extra weight.
It's a little slower at low speeds, but that might be because it's new.
The wing mirrors are great, much better than the PCX
The trunk is large. I couldn't get my lid in the PCX, I can get my lid, and a bag in the Forza.

I'll write a better review after I've done a few more miles, And put some pics on this evening.

Very nice, what tyres does it get standard?

Do keep us all updated on how it is!, may get one of these when my 2015 PCX's warranty runs out.

The stock tyres are IRC SS560's

I might change these for something more suited to the UK's weather before next winter.

Damn! Now that's..., A beauty! I would buy that if it were here. Love the whole look! Congrats!! :P

What's the seat height, 32"?
It's quite possible that you would be able to flatfoot your scoot if you got a pair of these (see link).
I have them, and by a Daytona Miracle....I'm taller and can touchdown. Just Like That, problem solved! (bought them for a Piaggio MP3 I owned. The seat was 32" if I recall correctly).

Too Expensive? Yes! But! they do the trick, they're grippy and you feel more confident riding. In fact they'll probably be the last boots you buy ;) Big fan I am. My sales pitch is over :D

Please tell us more as you go along, and keep sharing those lovely pics!!

I don't like the style of the Forza 300 but this 125 looks very nice. My wife said that she thought the 300 looks like a water craft turned into a scooter. However, the 135 looks like a real scooter. I'm not sure about seat height though. My wife is only 5 ft. tall so a high seat is a problem for her. Her PCX seat is still too tall for her, even though we put lowering shocks and a lower seat on it. She has to wear Gothic boots with 3 inch soles so that she can touch the ground flat footed when we stop, which helps a lot when we stop on a sloped road.
Currently own:
Red 2013 Honda PCX150

Givi tall windshield & tailbox - Lots of extra lights
Custom seat from Thailand - Bad Boy Airhorn
Takegawa Lowering Shocks - Michelin City Grip Tires
Headlight assy upgraded to LEDs w/HS5 main bulbs
NCY variator, drive face, and rollers

excellent looking bike...you will enjoy it..I think it has similar looks to the Forza300 but with its own individual style...but you can see its from the same stable.

I wonder how accurate the fuel gauge is considering the usual Forza fuel gauges seem dire in accuracy. Seem's they chose to retain the needle speedo and rev gauges rather than the style fitted to the new PCX.

Picked mine up last Thursday, loving it.

I've started a Facebook Forza 125 Uk owners club group if anyone's interested.

Hi,I took the Forza out for test ride today, I was impressed. It is a big beast compared to the PCX, glad it is not as sluggish as the XMax. I am 5'9 and I can just touch the ground.
It does go very well and rides a lot better than the PCX but those rear view mirrors are useless once again, could hardly see anything out of them, but they do look good. Love the huge space under the seat, at least I will be able to put my lid in there and loads of other things.
I have the weekend to ponder whether i want one or not.
