Red/black 2-tone Forza

Post by Brimma »

Just happened by a Thai website selling genuine Honda body parts at very good prices (approx a third of the UK dealer price), so even with the additional import costs they still came out very, very reasonable

I've seen red Forzas abroad, unfortunately not available in the UK, and thought a black and red scheme could look quite good

Anyway, you can decide from the pics below, but I'm pretty happy with it

I definitely like the concept. But most of the plastics are cheap enough that we could play with paint colors too.

About £150 plus £23 for tax and admin charges

The same parts from a UK dealer would have been about £450

A few developments for the Forza

WirusWin seat with matching red piping

Swapped the front mudguard out for a red one

Then decided that the Honda badging was a little too discreet, so added a modest decal to make it a bit more obvious

So where did you get the decal? Where did you get the panels? Mine are broken and repaired wrong.

Does the seat allow you to sit much further back than the original?

It certainly seems to make a difference

Haven't had the chance to have a long run out to comment on comfort yet, but will report back when I do

The Honda sticker spoils it for me, you would have been better with one of the circular raised Honda wing badges as fitted to the higher end bikes.
Four decades on two wheels has taught me nothing, all advice given is guaranteed to be wrong

What's that saying?

You can please some of the people all the time, and you can please all of the people some of the time, but you'll never please all of the people all of the time :)

No, seriously....nice job ....but do not quit playing with the stickers.
He's right....that deep burgundy round Honda badge fitted on the higher end bikes would look better in place of the big HONDA sticker. More understated and classy.
OR, or,...move the HONDA logo down to the race bike area below the feet, and try a couple different color Honda WING emblems up there in it's place....silver, white, red ??
. Cheap enough to try different colors and sizes in both areas!.
Keep trying things.....
Thin red reflective rim tape w/FOZA 300 logo on it, in black lettering on wheels.
The generic & agricultural can-looking muffler undoes it for me, otherwise.
Thanks for sharing.

Black and dark/silver grey.
Grey and dark tan....
White and pale grey...
Colors closer to each other.
Look less rattle cannish.
