Got mah New scooter pcx150!

Brand new 2013 honda pcx150! I had a guy from work who has a motorcycle license ride it home for me while i followed in my car. this thing will fly he was getting up to 40 mph like nothing and leaving me in the distance. I cant ride yet til payday friday when i get a helmet So its gonne be parked til friday ahhhhhh its gonne be grueling. heres pics. ill post more. it started to get dark on me and mosquitos coming out looking for dinner!

We get mosquitoes like crazy down here in GA too. They're annoying.

Have you sat on it? What do you think of the hump?

I got a helmet from a buddy at work so i was able to ride it last night after most of the traffic died down. Boy it was nerve wracking. Im glad i went with a mid size scooter as my first 2 wheeler. I did ride a bycycle growing up but it took awhile to find my balance on this scooter to where i wasnt jerking it left and right and getting the hang of it. going down the road at 35 mph too was a new feeling too, all the wind hitting me. Got nervous too when a guy in a car got right behind me and was on my tail its 35 mph thru here but he clearly wanted to do 45 so but i managed to pull into an empty shopping center parking lot and got plenty of practice making turns and going in circles, stopping, going etc. But it was scary getting on that main road to get there haha. Anyways gonna practice every night til i get it all down. scariest thing is when cars get behind you....not so fun when you have not mastered riding yet lol.

As for the hump....i hate it. its uncomfortable. i feel like i can sit further back to ride but the hump is there...ehhhh i may make changes after i ride it more. But my initial thought is i'de like it removed.

Oh yeah one question for everyone.....how much is insurance costing you a month? or year however you pay. its costing me 16 bux a month for it. thats it....like 200ish a year.

I'm 24, no accidents, 5-year discount, multi-bike discount, and military discount through Progressive for $85 for minimum coverage for both me and my wife. She only has her learners' permit for motorcycles (still, she's had it for more than a year), so our rate is unusually high.

For full coverage, I was paying around $200 a year. A lot of it depends on age and area.

After a bunch of riding i can honestly say i like the hump on the seat. its gotten comfy and i am going to keep it. heres another pic of my scooter. next to my gas hog lexxus......wont be driving it much now that i got this gas saver!
