I'm going with an Impact 260mm floating rotor and bracket with the stock caliper, I'll post when I get it in a couple of weeks. How do you like the performance?

I only wish the rear brake was a disc brake also. Then I would definitely upgrade them both. I think know that I read somewhere that most of our braking is in the front. However, if the rear has no real braking power then I think you are putting too much expectation in that front one.

You can special order a brake caliper adapter for AZIX . It too me two months to get.
I'm trying to get them to make a CNC swing arm for the Honda PCX.

Why not just polish or anodize the stock one?

Been riding it just over a week now for around 70-80 miles, and the new disc is still bedding in to the old pads which had plenty left on them @ just 1500 miles usage. I'd say I'm noticing a difference to the point where the stock fork springs feel softer than before, most times one finger is enough. Over the last day or so it really has improved a lot!

I might have to make the plunge and get the NCY Front Disk. I have the upgrade bug, and this seems to be a useful and nice looking upgrade.

k2apache6.0, I like that upgraded brake assembly. Did you order it online? How many items have to be replaced of the original pcx front brake assembly?

I ordered from webike Japan, got here in just 6 days.
The only thing you replace/discard is the oem steel caliper backing plate/pin bracket. You remove the pins from it and transfer them to the new caliper bracket. I had a brain fart when first figuring it out but it went smoothly enough after that.
Here's a link to the rotor/bracket kit I purchased, I also added a 0.70mm shim washer between the fork leg and the wheel spacer on the brake side as the 'buttons' on the floating rotor come extremely close to the caliper bracket under rotation. The stock caliper and rotor mounting bolts are used, and I found it necessary to rotate the hose banjos slighty to allow the oem hose bracket to line up on the fork leg which required checking for bubbles in the fluid afterward (if you have a spongy feel at the lever). The kit is high quality, well packaged, and available in 5 colors. There you go.
