She must have something up her sleeve. Last weekend she very successfully completed the MSF course, Friday after school she got her motorcycle endorsement, and the next day she had my PCX out for 3 hours. She went over to visit friends, show off (my) PCX, and to do homework. She may ask to use the scooter a whole bunch this summer. She'll probably be asking to use the PCX to commute to school next year.
Thank goodness the scoot is fully insured, with good medical coverage.

Hey!!! right back at you.
She's parked but I've got the key, and my daughter is doing homework.
My PCX is mine until tomorrow. I think my daughter brought her school books to her room inside the top box she purchased.

Please say yes? Will your Metal Trunk base #08L70-KZY-910 fit my 2011 PCX 125? (well, not "yours" per se ) but....will it? I just took a peep at powersedge website, no photo of this base was available to "see" but the order # was listed for the 150. Price was shown as you said former50cc. I'm guessing the base will fit mine

I can't say for sure since I only have the PCX 150 and not the 125. However, there are so many others who have found that the mounting holes under the plastic are the same.
Look at this video of a guy installing a Givi top box to a PCX 125 - the mounting bolt holes look identical to the PCX 150. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4eQqqZrAqYk
Here is a screen print I took the liberty to do of the PCX 125 installation showing the holes:

Here is the photo that PCX Commuter showed of the mounting holes on his PCX150 - they look the same:

I think it's a match.

Rack and OEM topbox look GOOD! Maybe I should have gone with that instead of the rack I ordered from Thailand... 7k miles later, the rack I order that used to look good looks like crap. I bet the Honda one would hold up a lot better.

I never thought of strapping an airplane to my trunk base! should give you a nice tailwind! I negotiated my trunk base into the purchase price from the dealer ($ 40). the cost to install was $ 80 as they had to drill holes. they also picked up that cost (they were not happy). That's ok, they got me on the initial trade in of my Kymco for the PCX. I like the idea of extra storage space for basket or GIVI top box, when you stop at the distributor on the way home, hit the local yard sales, or just need to buy those sale items at the local grocer.

I ride with the Honda/Givi top box when I do the grocery shopping. When I want to have that "sport bike" appearance I take off the top box and attach my Tunnel Bag (Givi EA105 / Givi T496). It seems to confuse the curious as to whether I'm riding a scooter or a sport bike.
When I know I have a very large grocery list I use the Tunnel Bag, the Top Box, a backpack, and the under seat storage.

I really like the trunk/top box base. It looks so clean and better than ones i have seen (GIVI) I'm now going to try and source one in the Uk for my 125 PCX.

I ordered the OEM trunk base from Amazon.com on the 6th and arrived today. The base fits perfectly on the 125 ESP version don't see why it wouldn't on any other PCX. It looks so much better than the Givi arms and hopefully the Honda SH boxes will fit it without any adapters. I have taken a quick picture without drilling the grab rail just wanted to make sure the holes matched.
