Just got mine a couple days ago... Now I have to wait until I get paid so I can get the first oil change/plug check done at the same time.

Got my letter today. Got appt for Friday. Have put 4700 miles on bike with no problem. Getting 78 mpg.

What is the trick to getting 78 mpg? Mine is more like 68. Does it get better with miles?

I ride 40 RT to work on hiway Mon to Fri at speeds not exceeding 55.

40 mph does seem to be the sweet spot on mileage.

Seems like it is closer to 50 for me....but my shape is very very aerodynamic! :-) :-)
I would have thought it would use less petrol at a lower steady speed?
