Kinda hard to believe they are quick shots - I would think that a tripod was involved. If those were from a point-and shoot camera, I WANT ONE OF THOSE!!!
No tripod, but a makeshift one, with a small bench and in another one removed the topcase and got my camera on top of it to get the angle needed.
But I didn't use a point and shoot, as I'm a photographer, I usually carry DSLR gear with me.
The "quick shot" term was used meaning they were impromptu photos taken in a couple of minutes, without any special lighting or previous planing and preparation.
I used between 5 and 10 seconds shutter speed, taken at 28mm and 85mm respectively and around f3.5

Last week upgraded to YSS shocks, what a difference.
As I'm a cheapskate, I did the work myself, so all in all, just cost me 70€ (around 85usd)

Guess now I'll have to take new pictures to reflect my bike :)

Well, if you upgraded your shocks, you are going to have to consider upgrading those on your girlfriend's bike now as well. If she rides yours at all after this she will want the same thing on hers...and let's face it, new adjustable shocks make a world of difference in the ride comfort.

Nice pictures! I have read in multiple threads that shocks are a welcome improvement. I have not put enough miles on mine to notice a need for a change, but I imagine I will get there soon enough!

I guess Illinois streets are better than ours. Here you have tarmac in most places, but also lots of potholes and stone streets, even inside the main city, so better shocks make all the difference.

Nice photos - especially like night shots.
Yes, camera must be held very still. Tripod, or set camera on something using timer to snap photo....no hands involved to shake camera. Most $150 pocket point-shoot cameras these days can take great photos. (My favs are Panasonic ) price too high?...try ebay for used, scratched, cameras from retailer with good feedback scores. I've paid as little as $25 for perfectly good 8 yr old cameras.
