Glad the pills are working. As George says, push it but not too hard. I had staples in mine and exercised just as they told me to. Mostly knee bending and stretching. After 4 weeks I went to physio - 20 visits overall and they had me on the exercise bike on the 1st visit!

The most benefit I got from the first 4 weeks was the machine they rented me which bends you knee. I had it up to 110 before I even had the staples out. Anyway - 11 weeks later and I am walking 3/4 mile almost daily. I have problem with my kneecap - very painful when getting up from sitting - and will be checking with Dr about that on my return home from my vacation (going on a Baltic cruise and then visiting UK for a week, so may be off line for a while shortly!)

Keep getting better, all the exercise will be worth it. The physiotherapist said the best thing for a knee replacement is to move it, move it, move it!!

You have a good incentive out there with that PCX - think it was about 6 weeks before I rode mine again.

Would love to pop in for a cuppa, but as this is just a five day whistle-stop visit I doubt we could do it. Doing Ladram Bay, Clevedon, Knutsford and Ambleside before heading back to Gatwick. DW wants to revisit places we have been to before and she loves - Ladram was where I grew up every summer from 1949 though 1966 in our caravan.

Cheers!

only downside is if I ever write off my pcx I wont get another because I didn't relise they restricted I like to have a scooter that can do 70 not 60mph

I like the style but to pay the extra to make it do 70 Is a joke

my motorbike 125 does 75 and can do 400 miles on a £16 tank and that's ragging the crap out of it lol

my old piaggio 125 15hp did 150 miles on tank of £12 and did 70mph easily if I would of known pcx are underpowered I would of got a kymco or sh125 2015

Nice, is that colour what Honda call black?
Better than the standard gloss black most peds use :)

Go easy on the throttle & brakes at low speed, they are really responsive (especially the left lever).
Previous owner of mine managed 10 yards before falling off :(

Hi all and Modsquad.
Thanks for the best wishes.
About 10 weeks now since op.and all seems to be going well.
Managing to cut down on painkillers most days and still continuing with the exercises.
To be honest,I havent really been out on the bike much(weather hasnt exactly been very good),but im back to work Mon.1st.July so will be using it every day then for my 8 mile round trip.lol
Yesterday,I did take the cover off it and gave it a dam good polish top to bottom.Looks brand new again.
Ive also just took delivery of my Haynes PCX owners manual.
For someone with my limited knowledge of bikes,at least I can now learn to do the basic things.
Ohh.....ive also learnt a lot from you all on here...thanks.
