Ignition switch/shutter - Use ACF-50?

My new to me 2015 PCX ignition switch/shutter doesn’t slide as well as I’d like.

Can I spray ACF-50 into it, or would that gum it up?

Thanks,

Sandy

3 in 1 oil or wd40 is the norm. Acf50 is for stopping corrosion

Can you get Boeshield in Canada? WD-40 is a very temporary lubricant. Everyone has heard of it and uses it all over the place, but it isn't really very good long term. You can also get some nice stuff at a good bicycle store - describe your need and they will recommend. The products may appear pricey, but at a few drops a year they last pretty well.
