Hello, I'm guessing many of you have burnt your fingers or have noticed how difficult it is to reach the small oil dipstick that is recessed far towards the engine. After an especially painful burn I decided to make an extension. Here's what I've done:

Used this Harbor Freight epoxy, held the whole thing with a clamp in a vise for a few hours. Seems to have come out as one sold piece. The time will show if it holds.

Thank you for your "how-to!" This will be a first (that I know of), in elongating a PCX's dipstick. Cheers on being creative.

Well, after riding in 100+F weather, the glue finally softened. I just drilled a hole through both the dipstick and the PCV pipe, and put a bolt with washer and nut through it. It's not going anywhere now.
