How do I charge Forza 125 battery fast?

Post by sut1576 »

hi

my wife got up this morning and found the battery dead on her bike.
I have removed battery and have a charger on the way.

my issue is I'm not sure what setting to use on the charger when it comes.

the battery says on it 7.4 ah (20 hr) / 120cca it also says 12v 7ah/10hr
it then tells me charging method standard 0.7AX5~10(H) and quick 3.5Ax1 (h)

Now know that means anything to me to be honest,

i have brought this charger: https://www.amazon.co.uk/BUDDYGO-Intell ... 4790&psc=1

would someone be able to advise what charger setting i would need to charge the battery fast, and fast please. I need to try and do it fast as wife needs bike in morning and i will be leaving for work at 4am and can not try refitting battery at that time in the morning,

thank you for any help.

Don’t charge a battery fast unless you have some emergency. Use the standard setting, it’ll take 6 hours Or so to equalize at full strength.

In the battery description is shows a Motorcycle mode. Use that. The battery is 'intelligent' and should adjust charge rate to what is needed. I don't see anything wrong with that.
