KLR On the Forest Roads Today

Just some pics of my ride today on the KLR through Nehantic State Forest in Connecticut. I think the forest road has been refurbished since my last trip there earlier this year (not so many shallow holes or depressions hiding in the shadows). :D

At one stop a guy pulled up in a truck and his dog jumped out to do some swimming and chase tennis balls thrown out on the pond.

I didn't see any crowds gathered anywhere. In fact at a popular Ice Cream place in the area all the picnic benches were stacked and signs posted so nobody could sit in groups. You had to get your ice cream and eat in the car. I just took pics and continued on my way and skipped the refreshments this time. I miss the "pre-COVID19" days.

Great photos. Seems like a nice place to do some hiking or trail running too.

Yeah, this virus really f**** all of us mentally.

I'm kinda sad thinking a lot of things will really change from hereon.

Yeah . . . I know what you mean. It's been a hundred years since a pandemic of this magnitude has ripped through the planet. Better days are coming though. Good things take time . . ..

Here's one more pic of the Kawasaki. Hope your Kaw is running well also! :D

My Kawa is running well, but not running much.

Due to limited storage, most of its use are limited to quick rides to get coffee, breakfast, etc.

The trusty PCX is the one doing the daily grind.
