Once more demonstrating scooter people are nuts. No wonder I love this forum.
The article goes into great detail of participants, vehicles, and history. Its quite a in depth read.

A closer look at the Scooter Cannonball

Has anyone done this feat of camaraderie and amazement? There are few PCXs and even more Forzas.

It is actually going through my town. Looks like I'll make some new friends!

Cool challenge.
I'd like to ride just one part of that course: over the Mackinac bridge, haven't crossed that bridge in over 55 years

Interesting that the rules call for wheels to be no more than 10 inches, which is smaller than the wheels on the PCX, yet it says PCX's are included in the group that is competing. I wouldn't attempt riding this much for so many days in a row even on my new Can Am Spyder RT, let alone on my PCX150.

If I were young, single, and financially free enough to do it, I would love to have tried it. That blog entry for the 16th says they will do 461 miles in 9 hours. I have gone that far in one day on my PCX. It gets tiring, but it was fun. I just wonder how long you could go before you are exhausted.

As of end of Friday in S.Dakota, an SMax 155 is leading the cannonball followed by a Vespa 150. Forzas are in 7th, 8th, 11th, 13th ..... ADV150s are in 22nd, 23rd & 25th. You can look at the website to get the others. I wish I was younger and had the ability to participate.

My wife and I rode that many miles in one day when I was 67. It was fun as long as we walked around when we filled our tank so we could stretch our muscles. We took our time. I'm not sure those riders in the Cannonball run get that luxury.

I did 200 miles in a ride last week. Took a break for lunch at midpoint. Still came home with a sore butt. Not sure if it could handle 400+ miles in a day.
