Hi, great forum with lots of information.
Still can not find information on belt. What is the minimum width of the belt on the exchange? I have already driven 24,000 kilometers. The new belt is enough money, thinking about kevlar belt Malossi x. Dimensions are 22x10x816 correct? It must be replaced because my maximum speed decreases. Also the dimensions and weight of rollers I found, you know that? Thanks for the response.

The only belt worth spending any money on is the genuine Honda one.
The aftermarket ones are a false economy and that's being polite about it.
With one exception which is Dayco but I don't think they do one for the PCX.

Original is the best way, i Know...but in the pcx is belt Bando form the factory, but dealer cant offer me Bando, only Dayco like original spare part....
So PCX is factory Bando, but you can not even get the official dealer. Only Dayco belt. That's why I asked about the Malossi, if not better than Dayco.
Do I have to replace the belt and allow the rear nut on the clutch?

Don't buy a Malossi belt, its a piece of garbage.
The clutch must be removed to get the belt out.

No need for an impact wrench, you just need something hold the variantor and clutch with.
I got an original belt from eBay for just under £40 including delivery.

A good solid strap wrench will work.

Do not use Malossi drive belt; usually their life is half of an original belt by the experience of a lot of friend owners of scooters (many brands & models). If you use Malossi inspect more frecvently the belt.

An elecrical 12V impact wrench is a very good investment, but one with electronic adjustment of torque applied (80-90$), in order to administrate the exact momentum requested by Service Manual. Using other devices to fix the "variator" it is the risk to damage some blade of the aluminium cooling fan.

Can I use the belt from the second to the first generation of PCX? They have the same dimensions? Otherwise, I bought rollers and guides. From the crash scooter. Even the belt. That is the second generation I realized after purchase. It's mileage 1500 km, so everything like new.

One of the advantages of living in Thailand is that parts are much less expensive. I bought an OEM belt from the dealer for 460฿ (£9.65 - $14.75 - €11.08). Maybe I should bring some back to the US with me later in the year. ;)

So I lit a variator. Both parts of the variator are curled. Pin variator has the will. I think the brass pin. It can be seen in the photo. Thus fell the maximum speed. So far I composed it and ride away. I have to buy a new original belt and variator counterpart. But what variator? Malossi or Polini? It's about speed and not about starts.

There's nothing wrong with the one in the picture.

Ignore the black marks. Clean off with cellulose thinners? Then run a fingernail down the variator working surface. If it isn't hugely worn then its usable

But how you can see on the first photo, the belt can´t go on the upper part of variator. It cause it that, the maximal speed is lesser than before...Before pcx take 110 km/h, now only 100 km/h.....Do you thing, it want only new belt and leash and everything will be how before ? Thnx.

The belt will never ride to the very top of the variator. As it never has done looking at the markings

This is a bit of a safety margin to stop it jumping off

Makes me laugh when people talk about the unused bit, they never think about whats happening at the other end and the belt length...
