As I read everyone's post, I wonder, How the Hell Did He Come Up with that Name ?? Some are kind of easy to figure out but others are a mystery to me, as Jimmy Buffet sings. So, how did YOU come up with your PCX Forum Name ?? It's all about the ride and this is part of it. What's the story, morning glory, what's the tale, nightingale...

now how did I come up with scooterkim?? well, my name is Kim and when I took the motorcycle course here in Pa, I did it on my scooter. they dubbed me, you guessed it, Scooter Kim. I actually took the course again then, on their training motorcycle, just to learn how to ride one. I like the scooter much better, esp. my PCX!

mine is actually my nickname, and the story involves my real name, an 80s pro wrestler and an exuberant soccer style.

Mine represents both my martial arts background & my love of exotic pets, namely snakes, lizards & tarantulas. When I first starting using it in forums it was 2 letters too many, so I dropped both of the "I"s.

We watch True Blood so my wife named hers 'Little Eric' because she imagined Eric the vampire getting together with Sookie. My Burgman is 'Sookie the sexie Suzuki', and yes we spelled sexy wrong for a reason. (It works with Suzuki and the story takes place in the back woods of Louisiana .....and they spell things differently there. :-)

State motto of Nevada is "Battle Born" -a somewhat misleading title. But that's where I am and I'm a full blown scooter geek even though I just got my M class licence. It's all scooters all the time at my house these days!

So it seemed fitting. :]

In the UK there's a habit of shortening names that have two letters followed by an 'r' (and then whatever) to the two letters and a 'z'. So Darren becomes Daz, Barry becomes Baz, Gary becomes Gaz etc. etc. My last name is Ferraby so in school I became Fez, as did my brother a few years later. My parents were known to some as Mr/Mrs Fez too! The nickname stuck thru' college but only sees occasional use now that I'm in the states, hence it's often available in forums etc.

I used to run a underground warez forum a very long time ago and was the main uploader.

Mine was actually given to me by Charlie Keller, the many year Manager of the HRCA (Honda Riders Club of America) at one of the Honda Hoots in Knoxville, Tennessee. The Ruckus Scooters were unveiled that year at the Hoot. The only two examples in the Country, at the time, were there for display only. Charlie and I oiled-n-fueled em' up, raced around the Marriott Parking Lot, then headed out onto the Downtown Knoxville Streets at 4:00 AM in the morning on em'. We also fired up two 600 Silver Wing Scooters at Their un-veiling at a Hoot too, and rode Them over to Norris Dam. He decided I needed to be called "SKUUTER"...it stuck, and rarely does Anyone call me anything except skuuter, both online and in person......
