If it doesn't come through, go to dcshoes.com/auto and look for Men Block's July 9,2012 drive through San Francisco....'drive' is the operative word!

So, how exactly do you get the city of San Francisco to shut down the bridge and a good chunk of the city to let you madly tear around?
I expect money was involved, but the amount had to be awesome.

On my scoot, getting there is WAY more than half the fun!

Re: You Have to see this video! :-)
How would you like to have the horsepower in that little car!? How did they get 650 horses out of that engine?. Zero to 60 in 1.8 seconds?! At the end of the video they show a Focus with 252 horsepower, but what he is driving is the small Festival! What do you suppose that silver colored shifter was for? He had a regular one beside it.

650 horse in a car is fuck all.
With a turbo fitted you can get 500 out of a Hayabusa and pull wheelies at more than 200 mph.

Tbh 650bhp is a sh1t load
Anything over 250bhp makes a car shift at bit really

OK, I'll try again.

Really??! I think the Hayabusa is beautiful and an extreme machine, but a car that small with 650 horses is not a poof!! I doubt the average person could drive that monster. I can say the same for that hot motorcycle. It isn't meant for the average person.

Re: You Have to see this video! :-)
I have either driven or been in various 500bhp+ cars in my 29 years in the motor trade and I can tell you they are not to be taken lightly. Boy racers in their "hot hatches" have no idea what a fast car is. We could have this bikes are quicker that cars debate but the cornering speeds of a well set up high power car are higher due to the better grip.
Re: You Have to see this video! :-)
Its not really about speed or performance, is about safety.
Bikes are much more dangerous than cars.

Yes they are. There's risk in everything. It just depends on how much you are willing to take.

Re: You Have to see this video! :-)
If anyone watched the above video that you you just posted, you will notice that those people do some of the Stupidest, most illogical moves I have ever seen! Who in his right mind just walks in front of traffic without looking? Who drives a truck like it is a race car? And who drives at a high rate of speed on snowy, icy roads? I don't fault the people who took the videos, but the ones responsible for the accidents must be nuts!
