Barely more than what a decent four valve 125 makes.
A 200 PCX would need a completely new engine design and 20 HP to be worthwhile.

Or a four valve head with hydraulic lash adjustment like the old pc800 ;)

More like 20+hp "at wheel", so that just under 25hp at the crank!! That's a huge power up!
I'm gauging it from the recent yuminashi stroker build of 190cc that pumped 19hp at rear wheel. There is a dyno vid on YouTube that you can see the screen display..

I miss my old PC so much. It was the only bike I've ever owned that I could just ride and forget about. Just keep oil in it (changing maybe every 5k with synthetic car oil) and ride. It was ridiculous. I've been looking for one ever since I sold mine. If I ever find another red 1996+ with the modern front forks for under $3k, I'm buying it and not selling this time.

What's the difference in the forks?

She's beautiful! Titled in South Dakota though? Oh man, that's tempting to go look at.

Mgalutia -- the forks on the more modern one look like the above. The older models have a funky cover there, and the front fender is funny looking. The modern one looks way better.

Dave, yeah I know :( I saw that right after I posted it here. What a beauty though 8) Wonder why the guy lists it under Tennessee CL? That's where I found it

gn2, White - Thinking Star Trek  (but, I like it...it's different). It would "definitely" turn my head around should one pass me by 8)

$300 more without the stupid seat and pegs

Realistically a £800 bike.

That Corbin seat is AWESOME. It's a big selling point for me. I'd remote the pegs though. Not sure why that was added. :/

Some UK dealers are advertising the new PCX now - not sure when it will be available or if it will be the same price as they are currently listing - the usual £2.600.

Still says 12v AC socket which confuses me as I thought usually devices are 12V DC powered?

Probably late march or early April as you mention. I've asked the dealer for details on availability and cost, should hear back today.

I don't know why but the back end of the PC 800 reminds me of the back of the Yamaha Morphous

It's the bum! Morph's got a big bum. A very useful one. It's such a homely scoot but I've always liked it. I see it as the Cadillac ride of scooters. Now that's a lowrider! How about this one for your wife Mel? I never rode one, but I hear it's smooth.

I almost bought a morphous instead of the pcx 150. There was an '08 here locally for $3500 with 2000 miles. All I had ridden before the pcx was a 49cc honda spree. The pcx is so much more enjoyable but in its own way. I still have the spree.

Two days on and still not had a reply to an 'on-line' sales request. I phoned another dealer and they agree with the early April release date and price the same as the current model - £2600.
