Just discovered that there are a few more tyres available to suit the odd 140/70-13 size on the rear of the Forza

Dunlop Scootsmart (oem)
Dunlop Scootline SX-01
Bridgestone Hoop
Bridgestone Battlax
IRC SS-530
Pirelli Diablo Scooter

So, which tyres do people rate? I'm coming up to 5k miles on my rear and looking at a replacement.

I went with a Michelin City Grip 150/70-13 on my 2014 Forza. I have about 3000 km on the tire so far. The Forza is currently in winter storage but it was working very well before that. Rides OK in the rain. It is a tight fit but I have had no problems so far.

I wonder if Michelin has any radial tires in this size? They do have some 14s that are good with the PCX, I was considering the 17s for my CBR 125R as well.

I've just ordered a Scootsmart from mytyre for £41. My mate fits them for £15. Fowlers wanted £40 just to fit a tyre.

Nope, Michelin doesn't do any tyres in the correct size for the Forza.
Radials would be a mistake as the Forza isn't designed for them.

An other option is the Heidenau K66 150/70-13, great all weather tyre :)

+1 for the Heidenau K66.
I have changed my stock IRCs on the PCX to these and really statisfied. Very good grip on cold an wet surfaces and it is fairly good during summer too. I've only done about 1500 km on them so far, so cannot comment on wear yet.
The linked picture does not give the true profile as the tire has a wery fine thread almost like a car winter tire.

Maybe the sizes for the PCX gomes with different profile but for the Forza the posted picture is correct, here a picture of my rear and front tyre.

I didn't know that before, I read up on it. Thanks.

I had Michelin Pilot Power Pure SC tires on my previous scooter, I like the idea of dual compound tires. Michelin doesn't make those in 140/70-13, but I can see them in 150/70-13 and 130/70-13. Anyone want to speak up on the suitability of using almost the right size?

I have the Michelin City Grip 150/70-13 on my 14 Forza. I have not noticed any ABS brake problems. The fit is tight but with my 200? lbs there seems to be no rubbing problems. Handles good in the rain. I have 3000 km on them. Wear seems to be good.

The scooter is currently in winter storage. There is a snow warning in the mountains.

I'm looking for a good all season tire. I am in Canada and my local dealer tells me that they don't make the Heidenau K66 in the right size anymore for the Forza. I have searched online and can't find any site who has them in stock so I think my dealer might be correct.

I ride year round and am finding the stock tires to be really bad in the rain and cold. Terrible traction around corners even at slow speeds. They slip especially bad on the crack sealant on the road when it's wet. As I ride 365 I need a good tire like the Heidenau K66 to get me through the changing seasons.

I had a look at the tires gn2 mentioned above and none of those seem to be good year round.

Any recommendations?

Mario runs on 150/70 r13 sized heidenau k66 at the rear as 140 was not avail. I'd check again online also if I would be in your shoes.

All bike tyres will slip on that stuff.

I had a potentially nasty incident on that crack hell. I put a foot down doing probably 80 kmph up by Whistler, BC. No bones were broken but I now refuse to ride the Duffy Lake RD (99).

It was one of the top rated roads in Canada for motorcycles. It has been totally ruined by tar snakes. Also too many motorhomes and other people who should not be on any road what so ever.

Yep, crack kills.

Seriously though, I have 17000km on my Pirelli Diablo's and never slipped. I ride year around in all weather but snow/ice.
