Thankful for Technology
I am so thankful for technology that gives me the ability to Skype with my grandson from literally half way around the world. It sure helps to lessen the miles between us.

Cute!
You've probably shared this in other threads, but what leads you to live in Thailand? Just curious.

"Reach Out and Touch"
OMGosh Mark! Don't you just want to dive right into your iPad(?) and give that grand baby of yours a great Big Kiss? He's So adorable!! Is it possible for you to "save" those moments in your device?
What's this cutie pie's name?
Okay, okay. You're looking pretty good yourself (baby got looks from somewhere )
Geezy, that is funny!!

Four decades on two wheels has taught me nothing, all advice given is guaranteed to be wrong

Not the women .... I am more than happy with my wife of 33 years.
Not the other stuff Thailand is famous for .... see the comment above. ;-)
Not the $$$$$$, although it was for a job.
I was offered a job here and my wife and I were just entering into the "empty nest" stage of life with our son getting married and our daughter in a serious relationship which looked like it was heading for marriage (and indeed there will be a wedding in October). Earlier in life we didn't have many other obligations, but we probably didn't have the wisdom and life experience that we do now. At the stage in life we are at now we once again don't have many obligations, so it seemed as good a time as any to head out on this adventure. We made an initial 2 year commitment which we completed at the end of April, but we don't have any other plans on the horizon and are fulfilled in what we do, so we are here with an open-ended commitment .... but I have to admit, now that there is a grandchild, it sure pulls at the heart strings a little harder.
