Re: Helmet Thread
That would be the one. I love it. Light, great visibility, great venting, not too noisy. Came with a bag and the open-face visor option. Wish a pinlock option was available for it, but that would just be an extra.jojo87 wrote:Is this the one willbur?

Re: Helmet Thread
My fiancee got this one for me. It's a Z1R Phantom. I normally have a clear shield instead of the stormtrooper one since my ride to work is at 5:30 in the morning.
It's pretty comfortable although I do get a draft around my eyes for some reason. I can't tell any noticeable difference whether I have the 2 vents open or not, though. Anyway, I don't have any experience with other helmets, so I don't really have anything to compare to. I'd like to get a modular helmet at some point for the ride back and forth to work and save this one for the more leisurely rides on the weekends.

Re: Helmet Thread
Like for Halloween? That's one Crazy Lid!
On a serious note, about drafts...check the weather seal where the shield rests when it's closed, look for gaps, kinks, tears, pinching, etc. Is there a seal around the eye ports? Check those too. The vents themselves may have foam in the way, take a look inside at them and clear any bits you see. The neck area could be causing the draft too. Just about anywhere on a Vader type lid.
I Totally agree, you should check into a proper full face or modular helmet and asap. Your brain is kept inside while riding, and IT'S Very SPECIAL

Re: Helmet Thread
Those Visor stickers are funny, when I had my yellow Tuzo Helmet I had the yellow Spiderman looking one,
the looks I got were amazing lol was annoying to get on properly though!
cant wait to get my Killer Clown one though, im in the UK and the Helmets coming from Texas so got awhile to wait yet,
I also have another on the way from California but I did cancel that one, but they still shipped it, so trying to get that cancelled still!
took me a few days to decide which to get out of the Graffiti and Killer Clown though!!!

Re: Helmet Thread
Actually I got the Graffiti one for free :-) I asked why they shipped it AFTER I asked to cancel, so they said they cant cancel it now and apologised for not replying to me for a week, so they'll refund me and I can keep the Helmet when it arrives 'as a back up' :-) so im happy, Killer Clown and Graffiti Helmet coming with a smoked Visor for it!

Re: Helmet Thread
Got the tinted Visor today for the Clown Helmet, Graffiti Helmet should be delivered today as well...
but yeah think it looks better with the tinted one, no more squinting in the sun!
the Graffiti one has a sun shield so should be fine with that one.

Re: Helmet Thread
Wanting the Icon Variant Helmet... depending whether I get the Matte Bike or Glossy Red one,
matte Helmets around £249 though, Red Carbon one is a little more!
trying to find somewhere in the UK that does them, as customs fees will cost a BOMB otherwise!
