Belt and juddering

Hello all!

It has been a while since I checked in here, I know!

I posted a few months back about the "juddering" that I was getting on accelaration at low throttle. The shop at the dealer told me it was the front brakes being too tight, and when he adjusted them it improved quite a bit.

Recently it started doing it again. I took the bike in for my 5k service and the mechanic noticed the problem this time, called after he took the bike apart and said it was the belt - that it was "folding over on itself" and now needed replacement, as did some sort of sleeve.

My question is, would it be best to replace with a reinforced/kevlar belt, and if so, does anyone have any recommendations regarding brand/type?

Thank you in advance!!

The best belt available is the standard one.
Aftermarket ones are weaker and wear out much quicker.
The judder you are experiencing is almost certainly glazed clutch shoes.
If the brake has been binding and the belt damaged as a result, that should be a warranty replacement job.
