Any thoughts on what this should be? Presumably there will be a max and a min?

Just leave the door open and it will sort itsself out.

Don't think the actual humidity is so important, but the change in temperature/pressure which will cause condensation.

There might be a point in leaving the door open, more likely to dry your bike. Logically if you put a wet bike in an enclosed space the water must either stay on the bike or air, unless you use a dehumidifier. I let mine dry naturally outside plus when it rains it washes the salt off. Plus I have the self cleaning black pcx

The garage will be closed pretty much all winter so no wet bikes in and out. I can control the humidity but haven't bothered until now. Temperature is a pretty constant 13c but humidity varies between 50 and 69%. Sounds high to me.

Humidity currently 81 per cent here and it is not raining according to my weather station so not high.

2yous...In my garage today thinking about the moisture too. Not liking it. Scoot is not covered, my choice (I have one though). We are starting winter now. Snow, rain humidity way up. Humidity gets in the garage every time the door gets raised (and more often when it snows when I reach in for shovels, etc).
So, is it an electric heater or dehumidifier the answer? Or neither?

Neither.

To put people's mind to rest my pcx lives outside no cover the only rust is on the exhaust pipe from the head to the box and slight surface rust on the front disc. Both will be addressed over the Christmas maintenance slot. It was white the other day covered in salt. Apart from the rust mentioned the bike is immaculate and only gets a cold water bath to clean the grime off once a week. Happy Christmas worry less bike more. I should worry I have a early none esp pcx 125

That's far too often, once every three months is plenty

Remember to use the old ACF-50

Thanks gn2 not come across afc 50 will give it a try. Can you use it on the ally on the transmission were it gets hot, and on the front discs inner if I mask off the friction surface. Thanks in advance.

Humidity is important regarding bike care , if you can afford it . Static air isn't good .

A PCX is a cheap disposable utility vehicle, not some priceless work of art.
Leave the effing thing outside, saves you the bother of taking it in and out the garage

And other stuff in it. Just wanted to know what wouldn't be damp in terms of humidity
