I need to power at least my smartphone and preferably both my smartphone and camera as I ride. Right now I tape the compartment door shut with a piece of masking tape which works fine but looks a but tacky. Is there a better way?

Yes.
Place the camera, smartfone and USB cables inside the compartment then close it normally.

My socket has stopped working, I can't find a blown fuse though.
Mine is a UK model, where is the fuse?

I'll try. I don't own a Forza (pcx here), but I'm thinking you open your seat, open your battery box and lastly open the fuse bin cover. Do you have your owner's manual?

It's under the top cover of the dash above the right side box. Open the box to find a couple of screws remove them and pull up the cover. Sorry I don'the remember the fuse location or value.

The fuses are inside the battery compartment, on top of the battery, in the fuse compartment.

there are 2 fuse boxes.....
all the heavy stuff for the engine and FI is in the lower fuse box near the battery

Connect Battery Tender permanent connections to your battery. Then buy the power outlet that plugs into it, run a wire under the seat (I ran mine through the opening between the hinge), and connect your devices to it. If what you want to connect can not fit in the glove box, this is your next best option.
